Our 5-day Ayahuasca & Wachuma, Grounding Retreat is for those who wish to dive deep into their healing process, guided by the powerful yet complementary energies of Ayahuasca and Wachuma. With two Ayahuasca ceremonies and one Wachuma ceremony, this retreat offers a unique opportunity to experience both the visionary depths of Ayahuasca and the heart-opening clarity of Wachuma, also known as San Pedro.

Preparation, Ceremony, and Integration

We value deep preparation and integration, which is why we begin your journey with an online intake call before you arrive. This allows us to connect, answer any questions, and help you feel ready for your retreat.

Upon arrival, you will have a personal preparation conversation with the Maestro and spiritual guide to prepare yourself for your first Ayahuasca ceremony in the evening.

You will receive during this retreat

Two Ayahuasca ceremonies (held in the evening) invite you into deep introspection, healing, and connection with the spirit of the medicine. Each ceremony is supported by our Maestro and guides, who ensure a safe and nurtured space for your journey.
One Wachuma ceremony (San Pedro), held during the day, allows you to integrate the insights from Ayahuasca while connecting with the expansive wisdom of nature. This medicine invites you into a heart-centered experience, helping you to see with clarity, feel deeply, and open to the present moment.
You will have a comfortable private or shared room to have time and space for yourself, to integrate and relax during your retreat.

Between ceremonies, there is time for rest, personal reflection, integration talks, and quiet contemplation. A day of gentle integration and nature walks prepares you for Wachuma, creating a harmonious rhythm of connecting with the inner and outer landscapes.

Sacred Space and Deep Connection

We honor noble silence during your retreat to support your internal process, allowing you to fully immerse in your journey without external distractions. Whether resting, journaling, or walking in the beautiful nature surrounding the retreat house, you will have the space to connect deeply with yourself and the medicines.

Each morning, we gather for integration conversations with the Maestro, where you can share insights, receive guidance, and gain clarity on your experiences. We end the retreat with a special gratitude action to Pachamama, the Mountain spirits, and the sacred plants, honoring the transformation you have undergone.

This 5-day Ayahuasca & Wachuma retreat is a powerful, heart-centered journey into yourself, supported by the wisdom of the plants and the sacred traditions of the Andes.

Program of 5 days (2 ayahuasca, 1 Wachuma)

Day 1 arrival 2 30 pm (pick up at Urubamba bus terminal), personal conversation, time to rest, preparation and conversation for the ceremony with the Ayahuasca Maestro and ceremony with Ayahuasca in the evening.

Day 2 breakfast, integration, and conversation with the Maestro, time to rest, Ayahuasca ceremony in the evening.

Day 3 . breakfast, integration, and conversation with the maestro & spiritual guide.This is an integration and preparation day, with rest and contemplation time. included a walk in Nature. All healthy meals included. (today lunch and dinner)

Day 4 fasting in the morning, 09.00 am start Wachuma ceremony. light soup in afternoon and dinner in evening.

Day 5 breakfast, integration conversation with Maestro and action of gratitude to Pachamama, the Mountains, and the Teacherplants. End of the retreat around 11/ 12 am.

After your retreat, you will have the possibility to be part of an online integration community. You will receive the link to the community via e-mail after your retreat has concluded.

Jhon comes from a lineage of Andean heritage, the community of San Pedro de Kacha. The mountainous regions around Cusco and the Sacred Valley are his homeland and his connection to its geography and community is strong within his heart. Maestro Inonbari
Maestro Juan Carlos Quispe Flores, whose spiritual name is INONBARI (Solar Jaguar), was born in 1984 in the Shipibo nation of Peru. Maestro Juan Carlos was just 8 years old when he first drank Ayahuasca. Maestro Kamaski, a Pachamama Servant, is an ICHHURI (Andean therapist) who comes from a traditional family of healers in Huasao, Cusco. Kamaski means a being created to serve. Learning to heal himself, Maestro Kamaski learned to heal others, thanks to plant medicine. The town of Huasao is a place of qheswas healers. What an amazing experience! Dear wonderful team at Willkamayu retreat, thank you for a truly authentic encounter. I’ve been on a couple of different journey evenings now and nothing comes close to what I experienced here! I was blown away, as the vine moved through every corner of my body (like a serpent!) each vein, cell and limb was activated… Mother Ayahuasca searches for the depths of the darkness we store in our bodies. Unbelievable. I came to heal some wounds, to feel/become more aligned and to be more clear as I could feel some things were holding me back. Jhon prepared the Wachuma medicine with a lot of love and dedication. The medicine came into my being beautifully and gently, at the same time making itself very present and helping me to break patterns.
There was space and time to share about the journey afterwards and receive support in (re)collecting all my parts and anchoring down what I had experienced and shifted within myself.
I participated in the Inner Child workshop and the Womb ritual, both guided by Janneke. I was so happy to receive both. They weave in beautifully with plant medicine and really support the integration process.
Both Jhon and Janneke felt warm to me. Having had several plant medicine experiences in different contexts and places, I can sense and confidently say that they bring their offerings from a place of integrity, authenticity and groundedness.

Spending a month with the Willkamayu family was one of the greatest blessings of my life. I not only sat in 5 ceremonies of ayahuasca and wachuma, but i got to volunteer with them and be of service to the participants and the medicine. I saw up close and personal how they do things, from the front and the back end, and I can say they are the real deal, and are sharing this medicine as it was meant to be shared.
