2 Day Ayahuasca, Exploration retreat

With Maestro Jhon Sikuri, Maestro Inonbari, Maestro Kamaski and Maestro Wayra

Package Dates

Do you feel a gentle call of Ayahuasca but want to take it step by step?

Our 2-day Ayahuasca Exploration Retreat offers a step-by-step introduction to Ayahuasca. Whether it’s your first ceremony or you’re looking for a personal and intimate experience before joining a longer retreat, this is the perfect space to begin your journey.

At Willkamayu Spirit, we honor the depth of this journey, no matter how long or short. From the moment you step into our retreat, we hold space for you with care, respect, and presence.

One of our Maestros will guide the ceremony during your retreat.

A Journey of Preparation, Ceremony, and Integration

Preparation and integration are essential parts of the healing journey. To ensure you feel safe and supported, we offer an online intake call before your arrival. This allows us to connect, answer any questions you may have, and help you prepare emotionally, mentally, and spiritually for your retreat.

Upon arrival, you will have a private preparation conversation with our Maestro and spiritual guide. This is a moment to set your intentions, feel into the energy of the space, and prepare yourself for the ceremony in the evening.

The Ayahuasca ceremony begins around 7 PM, unfolding in the sacred embrace of the night. The ceremony is humbly and capably assisted by the calming presence of a Maestro and a spiritual guide. They are here to support your internal experience, encouraging you inward, helping you to release and cleanse if you need to, and to make you feel as comfortable as possible throughout the experience.
The ceremony may continue into the early hours, and Ayahuasca will continue working in your dreams.
You will have a comfortable private or shared room to have time and space for yourself, to integrate and relax during your 2 day retreat.

Time for Reflection and Gratitude

The following morning, we share a nourishing breakfast and gather for an integration circle with the Maestro, allowing space for reflection and guidance. To honor the medicine and your journey, we conclude the retreat with a gratitude action to Ayahuasca, the Mountain spirits, and Pachamama.

During your time with us, we invite you to embrace noble silence, allowing for deep inner reflection. There will be plenty of time for rest, personal contemplation, and nature walks in the beautiful surroundings of the retreat house.

You will be held in a loving and nurturing environment, with space for one-on-one conversations and guidance. Whether this is your first experience with Ayahuasca or a step along your path, we are here to support you the best we can every step of the way.

Starting days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday. Sometimes we will start on a Wednesday to fit this retreat beautifully into another retreat.  If these starting days do not fit with your schedule please send us a message.

Program of 2 Days:

Day 1 arrival 2 30 pm (pick up at Urubamba bus terminal), personal conversation, time to rest, preparation and conversation for the ceremony with the Ayahuasca Maestro and ceremony with Ayahuasca in the evening.

Maestro Jhon Sikuri
Jhon comes from a lineage of Andean heritage, the community of San Pedro de Kacha. The mountainous regions around Cusco and the Sacred Valley are his homeland and his connection to its geography and community is strong within his heart. This interwoven community raised the ancestral traditions that have resonated with Jhon since his childhood, and became more profound when he identified parallels within the Taoist traditions which evolved his understanding of the natural systems that connect us above, below and throughout the universe. With these principles, Jhon experienced a rebirth of interconnected realisation and continues to encourage the roots…

Maestro Inonbari
Maestro Juan Carlos Quispe Flores, whose spiritual name is INONBARI (Solar Jaguar), was born in 1984 in the Shipibo nation of Peru. Maestro Juan Carlos was just 8 years old when he first drank Ayahuasca. From that day, he started to walk the spiritual path, guided by his grandfather, Rankon Metsa, who inherited sacred knowledge of medicinal plants and was a great elder and maestro  for the Shipibo nation. At the tender age of 15, he had already been recognised as a maestro  to guide Ayahuasca ceremonies. Now with a profound love and humbleness, he shares the knowledge about the…

I have just completed a 7 day retreat with Willkamayu Spirit and honestly it was one of the most incredible and transformative experiences of my life.

I have attended other Ayahuasca retreat centres before, but Willkamayu Spirit is on another level entirely, the best by a country mile. The food, accommodation, ceremonies, care, professionalism and overall energy were absolutely outstanding from start to finish.

A special thank you to Jhon, Janneke and Maestri Inonbari for your exceptional kindness, support and guidance throughout the entire experience. You created such a safe, genuine and powerful environment for everyone involved and I will always be grateful for that.

If you are considering working with Plant Medicine, whether for the first time or returning deeper into the journey, I cannot recommend Willkamayu Spirit highly enough.

Much love guys,
Sam

I can honestly say this retreat exceeded my expectations in every way — not just the ceremonies, but the entire experience from start to finish.

From the moment I arrived, I felt safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. The level of preparation beforehand stood out straight away — the detailed medical form and doctor screening made me feel completely at ease knowing everything was taken seriously and done properly.

The accommodation was beautiful, peaceful, and comfortable, and the gardens created such a calming, grounding environment. It really felt like a space you could fully relax and drop into the experience.

The food was absolutely amazing — nourishing, clean, and clearly prepared with care. You could feel that everything was designed to support the process, not just fill you up.

What really set this retreat apart for me was the structure and flow. Everything was scheduled so intentionally — from the breathwork and meditation sessions to the sacred womb ritual and reiki. Nothing felt rushed or random, it all flowed seamlessly and supported the journey in a really thoughtful way.

The talks before and after the ceremonies were incredibly valuable. They helped me understand what I was going through, what to expect, and most importantly how to integrate and interpret the experience afterwards.

The integration support, including the follow-up call, made a huge difference. It didn’t just feel like a “one-off experience” — it felt like something that was being properly supported beyond the retreat itself.

John and Janekke’s presence and intention throughout the entire experience was something I really appreciated, but what stood out just as much was the entire team. Every staff member I interacted with was kind, supportive, and genuinely invested in creating a safe and welcoming environment. You can really feel the care and integrity across the whole group, not just the facilitators.

Their guidance helped me understand not only my experience during ceremony, but also how to make sense of it afterwards and apply it to my life.

The ceremonies themselves were powerful in very different ways — one more confronting, one more gentle and deeply connected — and I felt completely safe and supported through both.

Overall, this wasn’t just a retreat — it was a well-held, thoughtfully designed experience that gave me a deeper understanding of myself and tools I can actually carry forward into my life.

I’m incredibly grateful and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for something real, safe, and genuinely transformative.

I booked an evening at Willkamayu and was fortunate to experience a 1v1 ceremony with Jhon. His facilitation and support - from preparation to closing - was exceptional and gentle.

The ceremony space was very comfortable, as well as the accommodations afterwards.

Their dieta complimented the medicine process, and I left feeling much closer to my unique essence than before.

Furthermore, I gained greater understanding for the process and culture and how it serves an important purpose in these times.

The wisdom jhon and janneke share with you is unparalleled. I have been to a few retreats already but this one was one of best. It was a one-on-one session and jhon could focus entirely on my process and experience was just incredible
What an amazing experience! Dear wonderful team at Willkamayu retreat, thank you for a truly authentic encounter. I’ve been on a couple of different journey evenings now and nothing comes close to what I experienced here! I was blown away, as the vine moved through every corner of my body (like a serpent!) each vein, cell and limb was activated… Mother Ayahuasca searches for the depths of the darkness we store in our bodies. Unbelievable. I came to heal some wounds, to feel/become more aligned and to be more clear as I could feel some things were holding me back. I followed my heart (eventually) and simply let go… that was when mother ayahuasca took over and cleansed every inch, in truly spectacular fashion, she will leave nothing behind if you let her in..!! Wow, huge thanks team ❤️

I feel very blessed and incredibly grateful to have had such a beautiful healing experience at Wilkamayu. The preparation and integration with the Inner Child workshop was exactly what I needed and the loving and professional support and guidance from Janneke, Jhon and the whole team even after my experience was exceptional. At all times I felt seen, heard and taken care of. A wonderful and safe place and space to do the inner healing world. Thank you so much!

What I experienced through the offerings at Wilkamayu Spirit was life-changing and transformational. I was able to process and heal many old wounds and beliefs I had been carrying for years. Janneke, Jhon, and their entire team are truly special people whose care, intention, and sensitivity to each person are healing in themselves. They are making a real impact in the lives of those who seek this powerful medicine. The natural surroundings added so much to the experience. The mountains, rivers, and quiet beauty of the land held and supported my process in a way that words can’t fully capture. I would also recommend the Inner Child Workshop as a deeply complementary addition for those looking to integrate and process their journey more fully. I felt entirely held and cared for by the team and the environment itself. My week there was one of the greatest gifts I have ever given myself. You will not regret it! I hope to return one day to reconnect with the community and the sacred land that made it so special.

Jhon prepared the Wachuma medicine with a lot of love and dedication. The medicine came into my being beautifully and gently, at the same time making itself very present and helping me to break patterns.
There was space and time to share about the journey afterwards and receive support in (re)collecting all my parts and anchoring down what I had experienced and shifted within myself.
I participated in the Inner Child workshop and the Womb ritual, both guided by Janneke. I was so happy to receive both. They weave in beautifully with plant medicine and really support the integration process.
Both Jhon and Janneke felt warm to me. Having had several plant medicine experiences in different contexts and places, I can sense and confidently say that they bring their offerings from a place of integrity, authenticity and groundedness.

Spending a month with the Willkamayu family was one of the greatest blessings of my life. I not only sat in 5 ceremonies of ayahuasca and wachuma, but i got to volunteer with them and be of service to the participants and the medicine. I saw up close and personal how they do things, from the front and the back end, and I can say they are the real deal, and are sharing this medicine as it was meant to be shared. My experience with the medicine was life changing. Im honored to know Jhon and Janneke and would only send my loved ones to them if they are looking for healing through plant medicine. Gracias gracias gracias.
