How to prepare for an online ceremony
Creating a safe sacred space within your own home is a powerful way to open your heart, connect with yourself and others through the medium of online connection.
Particularly during these times of uncertainty, there is a real need from us all to support, share and connect with one another. Allowing ourselves to express how we feel, honour the process we are in and accept our reality as it unfolds.
Collectively, the world is vibrating in turbulent times when fear, panic and anxiety can arise in us, linked to our conditioning, belief systems, and what we carry from our ancestors that are imprinted in us; down to the cellular level. Coming together to offer gratitude, acceptance, love, forgiveness, compassion raises your own, and the collective vibration.
Acknowledging the ups and downs that each day brings, the Willkamayu Spirit team are reaching out to offer support to our family and growing community.
We invite you to join us for some upcoming online ceremonies and offerings during the next few weeks.
The following article outlines some considerations on how to prepare for joining an online ceremony, meditation, workshop, general offerings and talks.
We look forward to connecting soon.
- Find a quiet place to sit comfortably where distractions can be minimised (turning off all other electrical devices), ensuring you won’t be disturbed during the ceremony
- Cleanse the space using incense, sage to smudge
- Gather some items together and build an alter. Items can include the elements such as a cup of water, a candle to light, precious stones, crystals, flowers (dried or fresh), herbs (dried or fresh), tobacco, palo santo, incense, sage
- Set up your laptop, tablet, mobile phone on a comfortable surface. Headphones are a good idea to isolate the sound and help minimise distraction of outside noise
- Find a comfortable sitting position, using cushions to support posture, blankets to keep warm
- Fasting some hours beforehand, or the whole day can enhance the ceremonial experience as entering ceremony with yourself first deepens your personal connection and brings awareness and sensitivity to the group energies too
- Prepare any refreshments, herbal teas and infusions beforehand
- Soft lighting such as lamps, candles
- Have a notebook and pen handy for making notes of what comes up during the ceremony that you can refer to and integrate afterwards
Your presence and support is gratefully received. Trusting in ourselves, and each other bridges the gap for any temporary feelings of disconnection and aloneness. Together we are One.
How is the Online Meditation arranged?
Reaffirming the importance of shared connection, offering support and connecting to our internal landscapes in the presence of a group, our Shipibo Maestro will lead us in an Ayahuasca meditation to connect with Mother Ayahuasca and guide a healing meditation for the collective and all sentient beings on our planet.
We invite you to join us, offering gratitude and healing to Mother Earth, wisdom from Master Plant Mother Ayahuasca and guidance held in a safe sacred space with our Maestro.
The meditation will be for 2 hours, held on Zoom, an online conference call platform (free to download the app/sign up to create an account), and the Willkamayu Spirit Team will be present to facilitate and translate on behalf of our Maestro.
After we have received your application form (please complete below) we will send you login details for the webinar.
We feel the calling to open our hearts and connect during this time of uncertainty and rapidly changing series of global events, to empower ourselves by raising our own vibration, receive healing, tranquility and wisdom, which together we can offer to the collective peoples of our planet.
We look forward to seeing you with us in Circle.
Greetings, blessings, with love from the Willkamayu Spirit Team.

Your Maestro – Eberardo (Metsa Yoi)
Eberardo is the father of Maestro Juan Carlos Quispe, his spiritual name is Metsa Yoi or sacred messenger of the plant. Eberardo has been practicing along the spiritual path since the age of 20. His spiritual teachers were his mother-in-law and father-in-law and today he shares these teachings, with open heart. With 59 years of age he has been in the experience of sacred Ayahuasca ceremony for 39 years. It is our honour to receive this maestro and to share his teachings with our participants during March 2020.
Post Ceremony Message
Vulnerability asks us to face what is coming up inside of us, often triggered, sparked from external events, experiences and interactions. Vulnerability takes strength, courage, to look into our shadows, face our fears and accept our inner truth. Vulnerability is opening our hearts, hearing ourselves, accepting ourselves and thus what flows from inside out, is truth. It is challenging and yet a beautiful practice to consciously cultivate.
A centering message that arose from the ceremony was to choose our hearts as the space we reside in and radiate outwards; to choose love.
To examine, reflect, what was coming up for us personally; emotions, messages and the presence of a strong connection to oneself, and to each other, uniting us.
Honouring what was present, emotions, feelings, thoughts, sentiments, and using them as teachings for our own inner wisdom. We are reminded they are places from where we learn and grow in.
As within, so without.
Acknowledging the group coming together was a strong connection to the collective consciousness, at times feeling intensely all that we felt. And that this is ok. Being reminded that the barriers between our inside world and the outside are permeable, delicate; we are here for ourselves, yet ever reminded of the interconnectedness that our individual work does matter, it does count. Taking time and gifting ourselves space to go inside, connect, has a ripple effect on those around us, and the field of influence is real; lifting our own vibration is a gift to us and the world.
A beautiful moment in the ceremony was a raising into the field of love consciousness, of heart consciousness and this message serves as a potent reminder for how we can empower ourselves during these times. It is all present and contained within us.
The Maestro performed a lot of cleaning, cleansing and clearing for humanity. A cleansing and recharging of our hearts. This was channelled in the divine communion with Mother Ayahuasca. His words and message shared on being in our own heart space, and from this place, to be free from fear, and choose love, supports the encapsulating essence of the meditation and offering.
In Spirit we are connected and this is how we can support each other; remembering to consider and see the bigger picture. Acceptance and forgiveness, for ourselves and for all. A reminder about connecting with our ancestors and heritage to bring love, peace and healing.
We hope you could connect, receive messages related to your intention and personal questions and that you received insights for yourself. Inviting peace into our hearts, into the hearts of the collective and prayers for those struggling or who are in ill health.
We wish to express gratitude for the opportunity realised by the Willkamayu Spirit team to share, open and create a new and dynamic offering, with intentions to continue in the future.
